back at my time there was not such a thing, well kinda had, but i was 15 when i got my first (good) phone (not the old 2000's shitty expensive phones), that thing was awesome back then it was like black mirror magic, we could listen to music, take pictures, record videos, use internet (kinda, since it was shitty here in brazil back then, it was horrible inside school but good on open places like the beach), play videogame emulators like gameboy color, gameboy advanced, even ps1, not even a nintendo dsi could emulate game boy advance, damn. But you guys know i live in santos a good city here in brazil, so almost everykid had their phones here back at 2017 (my last year at school), nowadays i have followers from all around brazil and many people use their parents phone or something since they can't afford their own

I love my phone

i used to love mine too, back at the time played a lot of games and listened a lot of music at school, did sit on the desks farest to the teacher as possible, did wear a hooded coat so i could hide the headphones, good times

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

If the smartphone's camera has a very high resolution, that's a really good idea (but if you don't neglect the rest)

brazilian kids were already doing it back in 2016/2017, nowadays cameras, specially americans and europeans can take fine pictures easily

I think there are studies that say that actually writing down stuff on paper better helps with actually remembering what you wrote down, as if the notes are flowing from your pen to your hand to your brain. But what do I know? I was a cheapskate who didn't get my own phone until my senior year of high school. It took me even longer to figure out that I could learn fundamental art skills just from watching the right free tutorials on YouTube rather than waiting for an expensive class and teacher to explain everything to me, and when I DO try to keep up with tech trends, it turns out to be unethical stuff like A.I. art generation! Thanks for explaining a couple years ago that technology only works by stealing all art ever uploaded on the Internet, I would have turned into an obnoxious tech-bro and probably banned from here for over-relying on AI imagery without that basic knowledge.

yo dude, yeah i think it's true that writing is better to learn, since you're actually writting and putting your brain to work and read again at least a little of what you have written, besides the kids that would cheat, take the picture but don't read shit, and also the kids getting used to be lazy will surely turn them to a bunch of losers in the future
lol by living in a country that is basically communist like brazil i have learned to try on almost everything the free way to do it, i didn't go to art school, learned everything at home, didn't pay for english classes, learned everything at home, didn't pay to learn about stock exchanges, learned everything at home, etc, etc
also AI is evolving fast as shit, but i think we still got some years, thankfully it's not getting so accepted like i thought (even though i'm starting to see many AI stuff in many places, youtubers i follow are using ai images instead of drawings and free images at internet, people are posting a lot of ai images as memes, etc), still i think it's not too late, we can make many people open their eyes
