@TheMiamiDeSantos Oh, that’s a bit confusing on Disney’s part. I’ll have to watch it again to make sure, but I’m pretty sure the parrot took Donald mostly through Cuba, unless there were any major changes in the Brazilian version (I know the parrot wasn’t called Zé Carioca in the American version).

@TheMiamiDeSantos Ah, so his name is José Carioca in the American version. José is basically “Joe” in Spanish, so he has the exact same name in both translations (and possibly all others), just localized depending on the language and country. Also, sorry about Rockefeller suddenly showing up in your Wikipedia search.
José is a name common here in brazil too. I would like to be the american president "super president miami" so i could take tycoons to work on a pizza parlor, the rockefellers would be on the delivery, they would have to drive the biggest beaters i could imagine like a ford galaxie so it would be hard to find somewhere to park when making the deliveries. bill gates would be on the cashier with the slowest windows 10 pentium i could find and me with a whip scourging all the tycoons "faster, motherfuckers"

At least you didn’t compare me to that OTHER American Donald. I absolutely loved Donald Duck when I was 5! That was funny, even before I read what was below the meme. it’s a little hard to not sound a bit privileged when you come from a country where you can, in fact, complain, it says so in the First Amendment of the United States Constitution!
The Three Caballeros is also one of my favorite early Disney cartoons, on top of all that! Although, despite the coloring, I think the parrot guy actually represents Baia, Cuba (he basically dresses the same as mi Abuelo/my grandfather did before he left Cuba for the US), but that’s artistic license for ya! That basically means in the actual cartoon this was from, I’m represented by both the capitalist American duck and the communist Cuban parrot!

i loved the donald duck and mickey when i was a kid too, had a snes with the mickey magical quest 3 as well a japanese cartridge "mickey no tokyo disneyland daibouken", i loved both of these games (talking about that i may post some pictures of my small old videogame collection).

The green parrot is called Zé Carioca ("Zé" is like "joe" here in brazil), "carioca" is someone who born on Rio de Janeiro. Walt Disney based this OC on a brazilian dude called "José do Patrocínio Oliveira" a guy who had a band and walt disney did see they playing when he did trip to brazil, he did met the brazilian guy and liked his style
