Pitoca and her sister are (partially) inspired in the belgium thrash/death metal band Anesthesy. Pitoca's blue hair is due to the Anesthesy - Just Married (EP) background being blue. Pitoca real name is "Maria Júlia Franca Liberty" inspired by the vocalist/guitarist of Anesthesy (Frank Libeert) who died at the age of 26 in a tragic car crash (reference to that when pitoca say her father died in a car crash).
Pitoca and her sister were originally designed to be a tribute to the Anesthesy band, a band by which i like a lot.
Many other EOFS characters are inspired to metal music related stuff, EOFS is full of rock/metal music references, some only diehard metalhead would get
