yo my friend, never give up, i started eofs back in 2015 (called "amputada" back then), then did post a demo in 2016, it did fail miserably, then deleted it and then got back in 2022, now in 2024 youtube did recommend to a lot of people, i was not expecting that, we are just getting started
@TheMiamiDeSantos These things take persistence and patience, I agree. Still, EOFS's eventual success, even on YouTube of all places for the recent episode, means I can no longer make up whiny excuses like "my art college didn't properly train me" or "I need to know Hollywood celebrities to become famous myself" or "My day job doesn't give me enough free time to animate" as to why my stuff hasn't really taken off yet and is buried by YouTube's algorithm. Sometimes, hard work and artistic self-improvement really are rewarded years later.
Thankfully, I'm more than happy to just make funny cartoons for the sake of making funny cartoons until/unless that day comes. It sure feels nice to get new followers and more views, but it shouldn't be my only motivation for making and sharing stuff.
yo, yeah, it's like a game, you will get more experience, new items, know more people, have more allies, etc, it's a fun business after all. I'm still waiting for someone "important" to talk about me, make a video about eofs and then his followers "(that dude) brought me here".
I surely didn't go to college, just watched some tutorials (the spazkid flash cs3 tutorials) and googled some stuff and made many things from scratch
Since i was a kid i had this dream to be the creator of a cartoon series, my only dream, it works like a compass to my life. My motivation is not only to get followers and live of an animated series, but also to inspire people, specially brazilians to give support and love to the indie art stuff
