Interesting idea for the art thing - I think that’s already in place with games and movies, where if the same person’s other work doesn’t fill up the rest of the recommendations, then similar genres and subgenres will be recommended for the rest. It would be interesting to do that for art too! Hopefully it might even get some artists together over their shared interests, and not just create a lot of fighting between artists who hate having their work compared to others…

thanks! it would not be possible without you all, the newgrounds families, the facebook families, i love you all. Yeah, some artists doesn't like to be compared with other artists, so they could do somekind of option on the "Edit Profile" like "do you want to be recommended as a similar artist?" yes ( ) no ( ).
There is already the "you would also enjoy..." on the moveis and games, but the system on metal-archives is very good indeed. There are lesser knows band like Blast, Old Funeral, Candlemass, The Hand of Doom, by which if it was not by the similar artists i would not know they existed nor would find similar music to them

he is probably a very busy man, got a lot of things to take care off, lot emails, dms, etc, etc, besides irl stuff. I once managed to talk to @SourCherryJack but it took some time, it's pretty comprehensible, they have a lot of things to do. So let's be patients, i posted it just yesterday.

yeah, i mostly use it to check the bands discographys, some stories about the members and the similar artist pages, got golden recomendations there. Some bands like Gut and cock and ball torture were not on the archives but they added later. Like five finger death punch was there but they removed later
