Netflix keeps recommending me that Jeffrey Dahmer documentary for some reason. And it’s only me, not the rest of my family. I think the algorithm is literally just thinking “this guy’s named Jeffrey, so he’ll like a documentary about some killer who’s also named Jeffrey!”

yeah the algorithm makes sense, i remember reading a comment of a girl called serena who did prefer to watch the english dub version of sailor moon just to hear the characters calling her name "serena", the algorithm may be thinking like "hey this guy named jeffrey may want to know about this other guy named jeffrey"
