@TheMiamiSpellcaster Reminds me of that scene in Ugly Americans. They were in New Jersey trying to find a sentient Blob's origin, so they find a dumping ground. First there were mobsters dumping a body saying "YOU DIDN'T SEE NOTHING GOT IT!?" Next thing there are a couple of toxic waste dumpers and they say in the exact same tone "YOU DIDN'T SMELL NOTHING!! GOT IT!?" Turns out the blob was protoplasmic amalgamation of dead mafia guys, mixed together from dead bodies thrown in the same river as toxic waste and mutating them. Some of the live mob guys even recognized them and tried to kill them for knowing too much.
