In all seriousness, I wanted to practice forced perspective and scaling up his feet to make them look closer to the camera than it actually is, among other things. I was inspired by one dance scene in Hotel Transylvania 2 where Dracula kicks towards the camera in similar fashion, which I always thought looked pretty funny considering how stiff and overly-realistic CG/3D animation typically looks outside those Hotel Transylvania (and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) movies are.
